KIERON J WALSH
Kieron was a happy Fine Art sculpture student until the art school he has attending decided to start a film-making course. Distracted momentarily from a promising piece of stone, the world of fine art would soon lose a budding gravestone-carver when he subsequently received a British Council Scholarship to study film direction at the Royal College of Art in London.

He has directed award winning films for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Granada and RTE, including the hit series 'The young person's guide to becoming a rock star' and his first feature 'When Brendan met Trudy' written by Roddy Doyle. In 2003 he directed 'Watermelon' based on the novel by Marian Keyes with music by Kevin Doherty. Recently he had the pleasure of directing Eddie Izzard in the film 'Kitchen' and 'Raw' for RTE.

Unfortunately he still hasn't managed to get back to finishing that piece in stone.
